Litti chokha reminded me of my nani's courtyard in Patna. I came for dinner, stayed for two hours.

Bihar se Litti Chokha Punjab ke Paranthe Kullad wali Chai
People who keep coming back. बार बार।
We don't have customers. We have regulars — aunties, film assistants, couples on a second date, the same four boys who've been coming every Wednesday since we opened.
MLC is the only place in Andheri where I can order a paratha, a cold coffee, and sit till midnight without feeling rushed. It's basically my second living room.
That first sip of kulhad chai on a rainy evening — you don't forget that.
I brought my parents visiting from Lucknow. Dad said the dal was better than the one at home. I haven't told Mom.
The staff remembers my order. That's all I needed to know.
Work-from-cafe HQ. Strong Wi-Fi, stronger filter coffee.
A little bit of home, in a corner of Andheri.
"Ten years ago, we came to Mumbai and saw one thing everywhere —
people missing home-cooked food."
That's why we started MLC Cafe. Not to be another trendy spot. Just to bring a little bit of home back to you — through a plate of sattu-stuffed litti, a steel glass of masala chai, a conversation that runs past midnight.
Last few days at MLC.
Come say hi. मिलते हैं।
A tiny cafe on Lokhandwala back road, opposite Jogger's Park. If you get lost, just ask for MLC — we've been here a while.
